Sandra Klass

Sandra is an internationally acclaimed colorist with a career spanning feature films, high-end television, and commercials across multiple continents.

She has collaborated with some of the most influential filmmakers in contemporary cinema, including Lars von Trier (Nymphomaniac: Vol. I & II, The House That Jack Built) and Ruben Östlund (The Square, Palme d’Or winner at Cannes, and Force Majeure). Her work also includes The Untamed, winner of the Silver Lion for Best Direction at the Venice Film Festival, and the original Danish series The Killing.

Sandra began her career in 1994 at VHQ Singapore as a commercials colorist, where she developed her craft during a key moment in Southeast Asia’s post-production industry. She has since lived and worked in Bangkok, Johannesburg, Moscow, Berlin, and Copenhagen, building a truly international career.

Her global experience has shaped a refined approach to color grading, combining strong narrative sensitivity with deep technical knowledge. Sandra is especially recognized for her work in long-form storytelling, where consistency, tone, and emotional continuity are essential.
