Ana María Ormaza
Since 2010, Ana has worked as a colorist, with strong expertise in Baselight, DaVinci, and Nucoda. She trained at the International Colorist Academy in London and at EICTV in Cuba, and is an active member of the CSI (Colourist Society International).
Her portfolio spans numerous commercials, feature films, music videos, documentaries, and streaming series such as Netflix’s Las Hermanas Guerra. In 2018, she was selected for Up.Grade in Berlin, a one-of-a-kind postgraduate color program that trained 40 colorists worldwide. There, she deepened her skills in color science, display technology, color management, workflows, restoration, display calibration, ACES, and HDR, and collaborated with the Berlin Cinematheque on film restoration projects.
Ana studied Filmmaking at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. For 15 years, she worked as a focus puller, an experience that gave her a unique appreciation for grading, especially in film projects.
